The interior of this house has a very unique feature. As was the custom for Federal Style Charleston Single Houses, this house contains no hallways, maximizing the usable space. The first floor living room, dining room and entrance are real plaster moldings. The other ceiling moldings are wood. The house has 5 fireplaces, 2 of which are in excellent working condition, the other 3 are sealed. Throughout the house, there are 5 chandeliers and 5 ceiling fans with lights. Ceilings on the first floor are 10-10.5, on the second floor they are 9.5-10. The third floor ceiling has sloped ceilings on the front and back side of the house. Above this is a crawl space.
All flooring in the house is real hardwood woods, except for the the kitchen and master bath which has Italian tile. All the second and third floor hardwood floors are the original 1837 pine floors. There are five sets of French doors throughout the house.
